Autism Berkshire is delighted to be able to invite parents and carers of autistic children and young people in the county to join us for more free Friday Lunch Break online get-togethers ahead of the school summer holidays.
They proved popular during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown in the first three months of this year.
Thanks to a grant from the Virgin Media O2 Together Fund, we will be running more Friday Lunch Breaks in early July and later in the year.
The sessions offer a change to ask for advice about getting ready for the holidays and share tips, or to just take a break in the middle of the day and chat with other parents and carers.
The first three sessions will be hosted by Autism Berkshire family support worker Amanda Walker on Zoom between 12 noon and 1pm, on Fridays July 2, July 9 and July 16.
Details of further sessions to take place around the return to school in September will be finalised soon and posted on the Autism Berkshire website and Facebook and Twitter pages.
