Carer’s Coffee Morning with Kinder

posted in: News

Our thanks to Dr Kesar Sadhra from Manor Park Medical Centre Slough, who joined Kinder from Slough CVS for a very informative Q&A session and reassurance about the COVID-19 vaccine, at the Carers Coffee Morning last month,

Kinder said, “Everyone on the session said at the end how appreciative they all were of his time and how reassuring his answers were to the concerns and questions asked. One carer, who had not yet had the vaccine, felt after listening to Dr Sadhra that she would definitely have both vaccines and encourage the rest of her family.

From all of us a big thank you to Dr Sadhra for being so kind and giving with his time and explanations in his own language, which made everyone comfortable.”

Dr Sadhra commented, “It was lovely to be a part of the open conversation, there are so many mixed messages going around and being able to put peoples’ minds at rest was really helpful.”

Some of our carers’ comments:

“It highlighted the problems of false rumours and reservations about the vaccination. I think religious leaders and doctors have a role to play. We all need this protection for ourselves and our fellow human beings. Thanks for the session.”
DH (Carer)

“It was very helpful and we got all the information in detail. Carers asked the questions and Dr. Sadhra explained very well. All the carers are sending messages to say thanks.”
